Naive, uninformed Agakhanis have been kept away from the Holy Qur’an, and are constantly brainwashed by Agakhani missionaries.
Cunning missionaries show them the misinterpreted half Ayat of Surah Nisaa, Chapter 4, Verse 59:
They emphasize ulil’amri minkum and force ignorant Ismailis to obey and worship Aga Khan. Whereas, the reality is, that Allah (ﷻ) has commanded in 12 different Verses to obey Him (ﷻ) through the Qur’an & obey His prophet (ﷺ) through his clear teachings i.e. Ahadees. In all these Ayats, there is no mention of Ulil’amr.
These Ayats indicate that Muslims should adhere to divine guidance (Qur’an and Sunnah). Our eternal salvation is only through our obedience to Allah (ﷻ) and His last messenger ﷺ.
There are 12 places in the Qur’an where Allah has clearly ordered the believers to obey Allah (ﷻ) and his Messenger (ﷺ):
قل اطيعوالله والرسول فإن تولوا فإن الله لا يحب الكافرين
“Say! – obey Allah and his Messenger. And if you turn away, then Allah does not like disbelievers.” (Surah Aale Imraan: Chapter 3, Verse 32)

واطيعوالله واالرسول لعلكم ترحم
“And obey Allah and the Messenger, so that you will be shown mercy.” (Surah Aale-Imran: Chapter 3, Verse 132)

يأيهاالذين آمنوا اطيعوالله و اطيعوا الرسول وأولى الأمر منكم
“O Believers! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those of authority amongst you.” (Surah An-Nisa: Chapter 4, Verse 59)

واطيعوالله واطيعوالرسول واحذروا فإن توليتم فاعلموا إنما على رسولنا البلغ المبين
“Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and be aware. And if you turn away, then understand that the responsibility upon our Messenger is only to preach.” (Surah Maa’idah: Chapter 5, Verse 92)

“Obey Allah and his Messenger, if you are believers.”(Surah Anfal:Chapter 8, Verse 1)

يأيهاالذين آمنوااطيعوالله ورسوله ولا تولوا عنه وانتم تسمعون
“O, Believers! Obey Allah and his Messenger and do not turn away from him while you are listening.” (Surah Al-Anfaal: Chapter 8, Verse 20)

واطيعوالله ورسوله ولا تنازعوا فتفشلواوتذهب ريحكم واصبروا
“Obey Allah and his Messenger and do not fall into dispute as you will become cowardly and your strength will be lost. And be patient.” (Surah Al-Anfaal: Chapter 8, Verse 46)

قل اطيعوالله و اطيعوا الرسول فإن تولوا فإنما عليه ما حمل وعليكم ما حملتم
“Say- Obey Allah and obey the Messenger. If they turn away then upon him is his responsibility and upon you is your responsibility.” (Surah Al-Noor: Chapter 24, Verse 54)

واقمن الصلوة واتين الزكوة واطعن الله ورسوله.
“And establish prayer and pay zakat and obey Allah and his Messenger.” (Surah Ahzaab: Chapter 33, Verse 33)

يأيهاالذين آمنوا اطيعوالله و اطيعوا الرسول ولا تبطلوا أعمالكم
“O Believers! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not ruin your deeds.” (Surah Muhammad: Chapter 47, Verse 33)

فاقيموالصلوة وأتوالزكوة و اطيعوالله ورسوله والله خبيربما تعلمون
“So establish prayer and pay Zakat and obey Allah and his Messenger. And indeed Allah is well aware of what you do.” (Surah Mujaadilah: Chapter 58, Verse 13 )

“Obey Allah and obey the Messenger. And if you turn away then upon our Messenger is only the responsibility to preach clearly.” ( Surah At-Taghaabun: Chapter 64, Verse 12)
All of these Verses of the Holy Qur’an command us to obey Allah (ﷻ) and obey his messenger (ﷺ)!
The one Verse mentioning ulil ‘amr, when read in complete context, also clearly commands us to return to Allah (ﷻ) and his messenger (ﷺ) in case of conflict among ulil amr.
